Dr. Samson Kironde

He holds a Doctorate (PhD) in Epidemiology from Oxford University, United Kingdom. Currently the CEO, Sustainable Development Systems for Africa (SDS) and the National Secretary of the Rhodes Scholarships for East Africa.Dr. Samson also spent 20yrs working as a Consultant with the Global firm McKinsey & Company in several Countries including South Africa. Dr. Samson has served as a member of the Global Fund Technical Review Panel, World Bank Civil society Consultative Group on Health, Nutrition and Population.

Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga

The current Katikkiro (Prime Minister) of the Kingdom of Buganda, Owek. Mayiga has served the Kingdom in this Office since 2013, having joined the Mengo establishment in 1991. Before the current office he has served as Principal Administrative Secretary, Junior Minister, Spokesperson and Cabinet minister.He’s a lawyer trained in Makerere University Law school and Founder member of M/s Buwule & Mayiga Advocates, a Law firm. Owek. Mayiga belongs to the Mutima Clan of Buganda, he’s the last of 15 children born to the late Cyprian K. B. Mukasa and the late Rebecca Kyese Mukasa of Kasanje, Bukoto, Masaka District. He’s an eloquent Author of over 5 books including, Work and Prosper, King on the Throne, Buganda ku Ntiko and Ettoffaali.

Asst. Prof. Dithan Kiragga

Dr. Kiragga is the Executive Director at Baylor Foundation and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Highly experienced in the field of Chief of Party / Executive Directorships. He’s currently pursuing a PHD in Public Health at Walden University, USA

Prof. Edrin Patrick Kyamanywa

He’s the 4th and current Vice Chancellor of Uganda Martyrs University in Nkozi where he assumed office on 1st December 2021.A Professor of Surgery, Patrick is also the Chairman Board Lubaga Hospital and member of the current SMACKOBA Executive Committee.

Joseph Kiwanuka Balikuddembe

Appointed Executive Director of Centenary Bank in 2021, Joseph has 25 years of experience in the Banking sector, started out with CERUBED in 1999 and was Executive Director at United Bank for Africa (UBA) Uganda before re-joining Centenary bank.He’s worked at ABSA bank (formerly Barclays) and Stanbic Bank. Joseph has a Masters in Business Administration (Finance and Strategy) from the prestigious Edinburgh Business School. He’s been to Heriot-Watt University and has a Bachelors in Science (Honors) of Makerere University.

Mark Ssali

Mark is an award-winning journalist in print, radio and Television Media. Has worked for both Ugandan and international media houses like Daily monitor newspaper, Radio One, KFM, WBS, NBS, NTV, Supersport, GTV and the BBC. Mark has also headed Public relations and Corporate Affairs departments of the Privatisation Unit, Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) and is currently employed by the National Council of Sports as Director Corporate Affairs.

Charles Lubega

Is an accomplished Business Man and Entrepreneur. Founder, Managing Director/CEO of Gurvnor Uganda, one of East Africa’s premium Night clubs and Entertainment spots at 1st Street Industrial area, Kampala.Charles is also a Ugandan former rally driver and National Champion between 2000 & 2004. He has Business interests in both Rwenzori Courts and House, two high quality Office and Commercial buildings on Lumumba avenue, Kampala.

Fabian Kasi

Fabian is an Accountant serving as Managing director and CEO of Centenary Bank Uganda. He’s a member, Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of United Kingdom. A Senior Executive in the Banking and Finance industry with extensive experience in creating effective banking and financial Systems, Fabian supritends over an Asset base of UGX 6.3 trillion and a customer base of 2.5 million in Uganda’s leading Commercial Micro Finance bank. Mr. Kasi studied at St Mary’s College Kisubi before going to Makerere University for his Bachelors. And then proceeded to University of Newcastle (Australia) for his Masters of Business Administration. Other portfolios that he’s occupied include, MD of FINCA, Uganda from May 2002 to July 2010. CFO of Banque Commerciale du Rwanda (BCR), Kigali City. Fabian is also a dedicated Rotarian of Rotary club of Kiwatule.

Julius Kakeeto

He’s an Accountant and Bank Executive. Managing Director / CEO of Post Bank since 2019. He’s also the current Bankers Association Chairperson. With over 24 years of banking experience in Uganda and the United Kingdom, Julius started out his career with Ernst and Young then to CitiBank in several capacities. He was the Finance Director in Equity bank, then moved to Orient Bank as the Managing Director for 4.5 years.He’s a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified accountants and an Alumni of Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom.

Prof. J.C. Kiwanuka (Late)

Kiwanuka was Uganda’s first graduate teacher. He taught Mathematics for over 50 years at St. Mary’s College Kisubi, where he had earlier studied, from 1937 to 1940, earning a Cambridge School Certificate and went on to enroll for a Diploma in education at Makerere University.He later got a 4 year scholarship from Kabaka’s government for a degree in education. He was admitted to Nottingham University in 1948, where he graduated in Mathematics in 1951, becoming the first university graduate teacher in Uganda. When he returned, Kiwanuka was posted to SMACK to teach Mathematics.

Maurice Barigye

Eng. Maurice is an experienced and highly skilled PM expert, with a career spanning 23years performing effectively as a leader of Teams and mentor. He’s a registered Engineer with ERB, holds the Internationally recognised PMP and CSI Certifications. He’s currently Managing Director at Nexus Green limited, a British EPC-F firm specialising in renewable energy. Maurice loves Sports and is currently serving as Chairman Board of The Smack league, he’s an avid Liverpool Fc supporter.
